Webinar “Brussels launch of the Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO) 2022 – Expanding the resource base"
The Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO) is the world’s most comprehensive, authoritative, and evidence-based assessment of humanitarian needs. It reflects global trends and requirements for inter-agency appeals as well as explores opportunities to deliver humanitarian assistance together, better. This event aimed to make the case that expanding the resource base is an important means to prepare for and respond to growing humanitarian needs, including those deriving from climate change.

Webinar “Tackling the humanitarian consequences of climate change: Scaling up anticipatory action”
The webinar took stock of the views of humanitarian partners and other stakeholders on the theme of anticipatory action.
Regional consultations
DG ECHO regional offices in Panama, Dakar, Nairobi, Amman and Bangkok also organised a series of consultations in the Field in October and November 2021, touching on localisation, International Humanitarian Law, climate change, humanitarian access.
The outcomes and recommendations of the consultations will feed into the European Humanitarian Forum.
