Allen G.K. Maina is medical doctor and with a Masters degree in Public Health. He has over 17 years work experience, having worked for the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Kenya, The International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with UNHCR in Ethiopia, Ghana, Headquarters office in Geneva, Switzerland and currently as Senior Public Health Officer based Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Over the past 12 years, Mr. Maina has been involved in policy development, multi-stakeholder engagement and coordinating program implementation on public health and nutrition on behalf of UNHCR and responding to major refugee emergencies in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Europe.
