Antonia Mulvey is a lawyer specialising in human rights and founder and Executive Director of Legal Action Worldwide (LAW). For more than 20 years, Ms Mulvey has represented civilians including aid workers who have been victims of armed conflict. She started her career pracitising international criminal law and refugee law at a leading specialised law firm in the UK. She then went on to develop and manage Access to Justice and Rule of Law programmes for the UN and international NGOs in Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territory.
Ms Mulvey was appointed an investigator for the International Independent Monitoring Mechanism on Myanmar, specialising in conflict-related sexual violence.
