Ashley Proud is Trocaire’s Country Director for Myanmar. With over 18 years’ experience of working in humanitarian crises in Sudan, Syria, Northern Uganda, Iraq and the occupied Palestinian Territories, she is a seasoned aid professional. She has spent the last 5 years deeply engaged on localisation of humanitarian aid, both as a researcher and within leadership positions for INGOs dedicated to shifting power to a more localised humanitarian system.
Ms. Proud has an LLM in international law and an MSc in Occupational Psychology.
