
Auriane Arnould-Balourdet is a senior safety and security professional with over 10 years of experience in NGO security management. She is Global Roving and Emergency Response Health, Safety, and Security Manager with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).
She previously worked with the French Foreign Office’s Crisis Center and several humanitarian NGO. She first joined NRC in Iraq, in 2016. Based in Baghdad, she was Safety and Security Manager for South and Central Iraq for two years.
Ms. Arnould-Balourdet took up the position of Regional Head of Health, Safety and Security for the NRC in West and Central Africa between 2018 and 2021. She specializes in security management in conflict environment and in crisis management with a geographic focus on West Africa and Middle-East. She received her master’s degree at the University Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne in Political Science.
