Bodo von Borries is head of department at the German NGO Platform for Development and Humanitarian Assistance (VENRO) since 2010. VENRO has 142 NGO members. Additionally, he is co-chair of the Advisory Board Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding to the German Government.
Mr. von Borries has been working in the context of human rights, peace building and humanitarian assistance for 25 years, several years in Latin America. His motivation and passion is advocacy for strengthening civil society space, empowerment of local actors and connecting different approaches.
