Brigitte Mukengeshayi is a policy officer working with the European Commission’s thematic work on the Grand Bargain Localisation Agenda, Participation Revolution, G7 and G20. Before joining the policy development sector, she worked as desk officer in charge of humanitarian assistance to Haiti and a number of South Asian countries.
Prior to her journey in DG ECHO, she held different assignments in the inter-institutional area, including relations between the Commission and the European Council, the European Parliament and national parliaments during her time in DG Environment and DG CLIMA.
