
Celinda Sanz Velasco is Desk Officer for gender and protection at AECID. Graduate in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, and Equality Agent from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she is an employee of the General State Administration. In 2007, she joined the Humanitarian Action Office of AECID, where she has been responsible for gender and protection in humanitarian action and for the Sahrawi, Palestinian, Ethiopian, Sudanese and South Sudanese refugee population dossiers.
Ms. Sanz Velasco has been Associate Professor of Public International Law in the Department of Public and Private International Law at the UCM during the periods 2008-2011 and 2018-2019, and lecturer in various masters and training courses on gender equality in humanitarian action.
