
Elena Bravo Taberné graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a specialty in Legal-Community from the CEU San Pablo. She has been a member of the Diplomatic Career since 2008. Professional experience: She began her professional career at the International Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2008. In September 2009 and until July 2012, she was Technical Advisor of Directorate of Cooperation with Africa and Asia of the AECID (which at that time also included Eastern Europe).
Between July 2012 and July 2015, Ms. Bravo Taberné was posted at the Spanish Embassy in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), and between August 2015 and August 2019, in Croatia. In August 2019, she joined the General Sub-directorate for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, until May 2020, when she joined the Humanitarian Action Office of the AECID, as Head of the Prevention and Evaluation Unit.
