Elena Ursu is NRC’s Regional Access Adviser for Central and West Africa. She has worked in the region for over five years with UN agencies and NGOs focusing on migration, governance, conflict, and mostly humanitarian access and coordination. In her current capacity, she supports NRC’s strategic and operational endeavours to strengthen the evidence base for principled humanitarian action in hard to reach areas and the protection of the humanitarian space.
