Eman Abdelkarim, from Sudan, born in 1988, with professional degree in Political Studies, conflict resolution, gender and migration, and media and communication and working experience in Nutrition, food production, agriculture, and humanitarian/development project management. She stated her career with the Family Company, SAY Group, in their subsidiary company SAMIL (the local producer of Ready-to-use-Therapeutic Food in Sudan). She has been the forefront and the main advocate of Ready-to-use-Therapeutic Food production in Sudan and the near region. Meanwhile she led number of project in; groundnut value chain, agriculture, youth employment, employment of disadvantage groups, and inclusion of IDP and Refugee in entrepreneurial activities, in partnership with other private sector, UN-Agency, International Agency, and INGO.
Ms. Abdelkarim has a long-standing interest in business for development and keen in improving knowledge in this sector, and contribute in strengthening linkages between the private and public sectors to achieve common goal.
