Erdem Vardar is the Founding Director of YUVA. Apart from being a full time NGO Executive, he is an activist and adult educator on issues such as environmental sustainability, human rights, poverty, and migration and building capacities of NGOs.
Mr. Vardar has worked for Greenpeace and Amnesty International and later acted as Country Director of DVV International while founding YUVA in 2010. Since the start of the influx to Turkey, YUVA has provided thousands of Syrian refugees and host community members functional literacy education.
