Eva Mach manages the Environmental Sustainability Unit at the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM) Headquarters in Geneva. In this capacity, she is leading IOM’s institutional efforts to incorporate environmental sustainability into migration management and humanitarian action.
Ms. Mach joined IOM in 2015, where she set up the first institutional environmental sustainability program in 2016. Previously she worked at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and in the private sector. Her academic background is in economics, environmental management and clean energy deployment and finance.
