Hansjoerg Strohmeyer is the OCHA Policy Director and spearheads the Office’s efforts on climate change, new technologies and innovation. He has served in several United Nations missions including Bosnia, Kosovo, East Timor, Liberia, Sudan, Lebanon and Libya. He is a lawyer and political scientist by training and served as a trial judge in Germany for 5 years.
