
Jean-Yves Le Drian is currently the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs since May 2017, after having held several other ministerial positions, such as Minister of Defense and Secretary of State for the Sea to the Minister of Equipment, Housing, Transport and Space, from 1991 to 1992. He served as President of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe (CPMR) in 2010 and as Vice-President of the French delegation of the Committee of Regions, in 2005.
Representing the French delegation, Mr. Le Drian is co-hosting the European Humanitarian Forum and will inaugurate the event at the opening ceremony, alongside the Commissioner for Crisis Response, Janez Lenarčič.
