
Kelly Ryan has 15 years of NGO and social development experience starting her career in 2006 at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, NYU School of Law, and moved to Honduras in 2011. In Honduras, she has worked for a variety of grassroots development initiatives working to promote access to education, access to health care, criminal justice advocacy, mental health advocacy, substance abuse rehabilitation, and violence prevention.
Ms. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington. She serves on the Board of Directors for Proniño Foundation, a children’s home located in El Progreso, Honduras. She continues her volunteer work mentoring and sponsoring drug-addicted and street youth through substance abuse rehabilitation and social reintegration.
