Maya Assaf-Horstmeyer has worked in humanitarian disaster management with World Vision since 2005, and joined the Peacebuilding and Conflict Sensitivity team as the Associate Director for conflict Sensitivity in 2017. She has since then supported conflict sensitivity integration, context analysis processes at various levels and has been part of designing and implementing the Fragile Contexts Programming Approach. She has also been leading and participating in a number of external networks including the Conflict Sensitivity Community Hub (CSC Hub), Alliance for Peace (AFPA) OCHA’s Conflict Analysis Network.
Since May 2019, Ms. Assaf-Horstmeyer has been leading the Conflict Sensitivity and Peacebuilding team of WV globally.
