Naila Abushora has over 20 years of experience in leading and implementing high-quality humanitarian and development programmes in Sudan, with expertise in gender transformative focusing on GBV, CPiE, influencing, lobbying and advocacy. During her numerous times as Plan International Sudan’s Head of Program and interim Country Director for different periods, she led the country program and operation in addressing critical internal and external development and humanitarian issues, including setting the foundation for Darfur and South Sudanese Refugees emergency response program, flood responses in different parts of the country, civil unrest and support for South Sudan returnees after the South-North division.
