Paul Harvey has worked in humanitarian action for over 20 years. He is currently a researcher at the Humanitarian Outcomes and co-Director of the BASIC research programme on social assistance in crises led by IDS. He has worked in NGOs as an emergency manager in Somalia, Sierra Leone and Kosovo. His research on cash programming includes reports reviews and evaluations for the Disaster Journal, the Humanitarian Practice Network and the Humanitarian Policy Group at the Overseas Development Institute.
