Paula Malan works as Senior Education Advisor for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. She has previously worked as Head of Cooperation at the Representative Office of Finland in Ramallah and as Counsellor for Education at the Embassy of Finland in Addis Abeba. She has over ten years of experience supporting education sector development in Africa and the Middle East, including with the UN, and NGO’s.
Ms. Malan holds Master’s degrees in Social Sciences and in Education. Qualified as a teacher, she has also worked in basic education in Finland. She is passionate about advancing rights based and inclusive quality education globally.
