Rikke Fredberg is policy officer working with the European Commission’s thematic work on gender & age in humanitarian action, with a particular focus on sexual and gender-based violence as well as child protection. Prior to joining the European Commission,she was head of section with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she worked on humanitarian protection and European policy. She has furthermore held positions in the European Parliament as well as the Danish Parliament’s International Secretariat.
Ms. Fredberg holds an MSc. (Distinction) in Public Policy from the University of Bristol as well as an MSc. in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Aalborg.
