Samar Abboud is the Country Director for the International Rescue Committee in Iraq. She brings over 15 years of experience in the humanitarian and development field within the Middle East and East and North Africa regions spanning the Syria crisis in Lebanon, the conflict emergency response in South Sudan and the migration response in North Africa.
