
Sameera Noori graduated from the Environmental Engineering Faculty in Kabul and also acquired diploma in commerce from Qurtabah University Peshawar. Since 2013, she started working as humanitarian worker and Civil society Activist, and in 2017 she co-founded the Organization named Asian Local Leaders Organization for Humanitarian Aid (ALLOHA) and worked as a Volunteer for ALLOHA. She has been engaged in a number of Emergency response Disaster Risk Reduction projects, including the Education in Emergency, Environmental awareness and protection trainings and events, and participated in number of National, Regional and International Events.
Meanwhile, Ms. Noori is working as Education in Emergencies Manager / DDG in Citizens Organization for Advocacy and Resilience the former Coordination of Afghan Relief- CoAR and as well as volunteer Partnership Officer for Civil Society Empowerment Network- CEN. She is motivated to create a new platform for exchange and transfer of knowledge and experience regarding the EiE, DRR and Environmental issues between other Young local intellectuals, as the local Communities are the first responder to any disasters in the community, and that needs the young skilled Volunteers in the community to response in a better way.
